Fictional adult undergoes ordered lipid testing. The laboratory measures total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol and triglycerides. The current complete panel relationship must be checked in the learner’s book. The exercise does not supply proprietary panel definitions.

Method record

The analyzer’s software calculates an LDL value from the measured results. The method log explicitly states that no direct LDL measurement assay was performed. No additional specimen or separately ordered direct assay exists in this record.

Final report
